After helping to guide the careers of major rock icons like Triumph, Rik Emmett, Kim Mitchell, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), April Wine and The Gandharvas…we sure know a lot about rock & pop music. During the 80’s, 90’s & early 2000’s, Founder Ross Munro was fortunate to find himself in recording studios with Producers Eddie Kramer (Hendrix, Led Zep), Mike Clink (Guns ‘N’ Roses), and Terry Brown (Rush). He has mastered records with the legendary Bob Ludwig, recorded at Jimi Hendrix’s “Electric Ladyland” Studios in NYC, and spearheaded projects with superstar guitarists like Alex Lifeson & Steve Morse.

Since 2004, Munro and his Rock This Way Team have been teaching both kids and adults about the fundamentals of rock and pop music. On the shoulders of yesterday’s giants of rock, we are now helping to build a new generation of musicians, singers, songwriters and record producers that will stand tall in today’s world of music.

At Rock This Way, our students lead the way. And now that we’ve been doing this for nearly a decade, our students can see the results! Our programs are customized to each student, so that you can more quickly achieve what you are looking for.

Of course, if you aspire to reach the top of the charts…nobody knows more about that than us. But even if you are a beginner, just looking for the casual pursuit of happiness or a hobby…our Rock This Way team knows how to make it happen.

Making a difference in people’s lives feels really good. And that’s what we do. We can’t count the number of those calls & emails from ecstatic parents of young students who have grown in self-confidence as they’ve experienced the Rock This Way difference. You’re absolutely right! They didn’t have music lessons like this when you were a kid! And that’s exactly what folks like about Rock This Way – School of Rock. While other music schools slowly lull their students into a state of perpetual boredom (with way too much theory), or focus mostly on selling them outdated music books and instruments from their retail shelves…we set out to inspire a real love of music for our students.

Our Rock This Way Instructors are passionate about music, and about connecting with students. It makes a big difference.
